How many times have you been told that superheroes only exists in fiction and that love happens only in movies? How many times people have tried bringing you back to reality , trying to explain that song lyrics are not relatable to life and that TV show characters cant resemble any real person in your life.. This year let’s prove them wrong.

Do what you will, this world’s a fiction and is made up of contradictions. We believe that it’s only under the mask of fiction that you can tell the truth. Research maintains that our minds have many levels, yet, for the most part we utilize very little. Sure it’s said some can move things by kinetic energy, or “know” the future. We believe this to be fact, because we’ve seen it. I recognize it’s hard to believe, if you’ve never seen. People argue that fiction is a fragment of one’s imagination but in our defense so is reality. As put in the words of Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter :

Tell me one last thing,” said Harry. “Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?”

Dumbledore beamed at him, and his voice sounded loud and strong in Harry’s ears even though the bright mist was descending again, obscuring his figure.

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

KIIT Fest is the annual social and techno-cultural festival of KIIT University. Its a defining platform for the students and artists to showcase their skills and develop their potential. It is the first and the largest of its kind in east India and hopes to carve a niche for itself in the country. The fest is organized over 25 sq. km. area campus accommodating 22 world class campuses. More than 25,000 students enrolled into 100 different academic programs of KIIT group participate in the fest along with students from different parts of the country having diverse background, nationalities and culture.
KIIT fest provides you an opportunity to let your imagination run wild and enjoy the extravaganza this March. It has workshops for the inquisitive minds, competitive debate, dance, drama and quizzing events for the artists and unwinding cultural shows for the freewheelers. We invite you to come be part of our dream. You might have to follow the rules though. As quoted in the Leonardo Capri starrer Inception :

KIIT fest celebrates the true spirit of youth through a perfect blend of fun and learning, competition and excitement and techno-cultural events with underlying social theme. Spread over three days, it creates a technically and culturally simulating environment for the exchange of ideas and visions. It’s an opportunity to turn your imagination into reality.

Well that’s what a description would be like but KIIT fest is much more than that. Following the beliefs of our superheroes we love and believe in, we go by the principle that SOMETIMES THE TRUTH ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH, SOMETIMES PEOPLE DESERVE MORE. SOMETIMES PEOPLE DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR FAITH REWARDED !
